The illustrations were enough alone to keep us occupied finding the creepy crawly things in each enchanting picture. We laughed at "squishy squid sauce and pickled possum whiskers and octopus eyeballs".
Now I can't get my Kindle back from them.

I got it for my grandchildren . I enjoyed reading it to them. The ilustrations were really good we liked the book.
This book is mesmerizing. The story is so sweet and well told and the illustrations are chuckle inducing. Simply delightful. There seems to be a new surprise in every page each time I read it to my grandchild.
I was lucky enough to snag this book on my for free. I would have certainly paid for this book as me and my daughter love it. It's very cute and cleverly written and a fun story that can be read year round and not just during Halloween.

I don't know the author, to start with. I got this book on my when it was free for a couple of days. I read it to my 9 year old sister before bed, and she loved it. We read it once, than went back over the pictures. Wonderfully illustrated and highly imaginative. Makes those little minds think about what octopus eyeballs and other witchy stuff is doing in her witches brew. My 2 year old sister loved the pictures, she was sick and wanted to see what I had read to sissy. Highly recommended
Oh my gosh! My granddaughter simply love's this book. I imagine the way it is read has something to do with her love of the story as well but it is such a colorful book with so many things to look at on each page. A very cute story. I would recommend this book to everyone.
This will make any elementary school kid giggle as the witches add some pretty gross ingredients to the brew. The funny prose is accompanied by colorful visual humor. It will leave you and your child smiling. Great gift for a teacher
